Ok
For those who heard the abomination that was the first show from puahates very own
It had-
No structure
No topic of conversation
No order
No interesting banter
No research
No Editing
Therefore it was Boring!
its safe to say it was unlistenable as I commented here. (BTW the pictures I used prior to the show still applied afterwards as well
) in replies 32 and 39.
Like I said I was a grade A student in Media Studies and Communications and I got Distinctions on a regular basis for my Radio/Video Production work.
As research I think anyone currently involved in the PODCAST should go to a Live Studio Audience Recording to see what a sterile environment it is. Everything is meticulously planned scripted and re-hearsed- its very stop start- so when you watch the edited show at home you can see how good entertainment is made.
As the Podcast IS NOT live there is no excuse not to edit down the show- cut out the "mistakes" (thats why people have clapper boards with Take 1 Take 2 etc).
I think this thread we should have two suggestions
1- Techinical suggestions- like more structure, more content, more scripting, more technical skills for editing
2- Topics of conversation that YOU want to hear about in each show in a sticky thread. So when the next presenters do the next show they do at least a 40 minute mindstorm of topics. Draw a spider diagram of inter-related content so the show has some structure and content.

This. But build things up 1 at a time and we will have a better show.
- Chemistry was good towards the end
- Tempo needs too speed up a little bit
- You could talk about world events and things going on in your lives
- Have something like a pickup tip of the week, for humor
- You could experiement with music in the background
- Try not to talk about past events too much
- I want to know what you all had for breakfast, new friends you made
- Some jack off jams
- Voice tonality
- Reccomended website of the week
- Cant hear puahate advertised that well

Personally I hate edited shows, so don't worry about that happening. Also, I'm recording it, and I just don't have the damn time or interest in going through hours of audio picking out the best parts. We'll get better as the shows progress.
This is like cold approaching one set, bombing, and then saying, "Bro, you have no game."
This is a podcast bootcamp right now.
We make shitty podcasts (approaching a mixed set), you guys pick them apart afterwards and tell us where we went wrong, where our voice tonality could have been better or we could have used more alpha body language (debrief), then we go out in "the field" and do it again. New FR to be released next Wed.
Jesus Christ I know too much about pick up, I want to kill myself.

If you want to do all that work for our podcast.........you're more than welcome..........we don't have time to spend editing it..........we all have busy lives and lots of other shit going on.........it was hard just to try to get one time per week that all 3 of them could do it together..........and it's not possible for all 3 of those guys to be in the same room together............because they are all in different countries.
If you want to pay for them to fly out to be together and pay for studio time somewhere, and do all the editing and pre and post production yourself, then it can be up to your standards.
Otherwise it will just be what it is.........raw and unedited. Nobody is claiming that it will be some awesome, well done podcast.
